About
The story behind this blog is quite narcissistic, if not extremely pretentious of me, but I shall go ahead and share it anyway. :)
I’m a sophomore in high school this year and for our second trimester of English, we are each assigned to a certain topic to create an impromptu speech. (For example: “What is the one thing you would never do?” or “Which celebrity would you feed to a dinosaur?”) As an introvert, I was all a-flutter with even the mention of public speaking, but as a closeted writer, I was secretly excited.
On the first week, I listened to the first couple of speeches and kept thinking “Damn, that was a good topic!” or “Ugh, I just got a good idea for that one!” This blog is where my unused speech ideas will rest until I find some kind of use for them.
(Oh, and, if you were curious, the speech topic I got was “What is the one thing you would never do?” Needless to say, I completely blacked out. Of course. I’m more of a sit-down-and-write-it-on-your-blog-person, really.)
